BOARD OF DIRECTORS
Other than the coordinator's salary and office space, the funds to operate the Crime Stoppers Guam program comes from community donations. The Crime Stoppers board is charged with raising the needed funds for rewards, promotion of the program, legal challenges, education of the board members on latest issues, and administrative cost, such as banking, postage, etc.
The board is also responsible for setting the operating policy and procedures, which are carried out by the coordinator, and administering the program.
In addition, duties of the board also include promoting the program, deciding on payment rewards, the amount of rewards, keeping tract of records & statistical data, public speaking engagements, and networking with Crime Stoppers International and other Crime Stoppers Program.
