SYNOPSIS:
Wednesday August 07, 2002 the Lt. Governor formed a task force to help combat the on going graffiti problem our island is facing. Recently, two adults were arrested and charged with criminal mischief for spray painting some containers located behind Guam Premium Outlets.
All around our island you can see, no building, bus shelter or power pole is safe from graffiti. Private businesses and government alike spend hundreds of dollars to clean or paint over this mess.
You can help put a stop to this problem. If you notice someone spray painting or marking, call the Guam Police Department. And if you know of someone who is responsible for graffiti you can call in your information to Guam Crime Stoppers at 477-HELP.
Guam Crime Stoppers does not use caller I.D. You can receive a cash reward of up to $1000.00 dollars leading to an arrest of individual(s) in a crime.
Until our next Crime Segment,
