Wednesday January 31, 2001 a female Japanese tourist was washing her hands in the women's restroom at the Hagatna Shopping Center when a male individual entered the restroom and punched her in the face.
The individual grabbed her purse and punched her again before fleeing through the rear exit of the building. The victim sustained a deep cut to her mouth and was transported the GMH where she received stitches for her injuries.
SYNOPSIS:
It was reported to the Guam Police Department that somtime over the weeked of January 26th thu the 28th, someone broke into and maliciously damaged the Yona-Talofof Senior Citizen Center. The dining kitchen door had a total of 27 puncture holes.
Gasoline had been poured on the plants and set a fire. The power outlet covers were all stolen, several dents were located in the other doors and the young trees that were planted were removed and stolen.
SYNOPSIS:
January 10, 2001 it was reported to the Guam Police Department that house number 148 Old Price Road, Mangilao had been burglarized. When the woman of the house came home she noticed one of the lights on in a room.
She thought that was unusual and left the house and waited for her husband to come home from work. Upon taking inventory of the house they noticed a .380 Caliber Sag Saver Model 230SL Stainless Steel had been stolen valued at $680.00.
