How Crime Stoppers Tips are Handled.

1. Information is needed on an unsolved crime here in Guam or anywhere else.

2. You can call 477-HELP (4357) and give all the detailed information you can regarding the crime, suspects, etc... You do not have to give your name and Crime Stoppers does not utilize caller ID.

3. The Crime Stoppers Coordinator takes down the information and gives the caller a confidential code number . This is the only way a caller is identified.

4. The coordinator's ask the caller to call back in a few weeks for an update on their file and passes the information to a law enforcement investigator.

5. If the information result in an arrest, recovery of stolen property, recovery of illegal narcotics or a combination thereof, the caller can qualify for a case reward. The amount of reward will be determined by the board of directors and can range from One Hundred ($100.00) to One Thousand Dollars ($1000.00).

6. The coordinator communicates file or reward information back to the anonymous caller when they  call back for an update. A reward paid in cash will be arranged upon approval. The coordinator does not physically pay the reward nor does he ever meet the caller personally.
